Paradise was written in the summer of 2019 at a Citizen Songwriters community workshop in Middlesbrough.

I am your iron door, stood a hundred years or more
I’ve been the first trees, that you’ve ever seen
As you come to the park, seeking sanctuary

My eyes, like butterflies, as I call you to the lake
